Faithworks Furniture Project

Our last trip out into our community was on the 12th of November.  Get in touch and let us know if you can help in the future.

The Faithworks Furniture Project (FPP) restores donated furniture, household goods and white goods and redistributes them to those in need.

To date we have helped over 640 families throughout the Banbury area, but unfortunately the need continues to grow.

We believe that God calls us to go into the community and reach out and care for those in need.  FFP is one of the ways that we can do this, by providing an invaluable service to families who would otherwise struggle.

Work is carried out by volunteers and there are opportunities to serve in areas such as collections and deliveries, restoration, follow-up visits and administration.

If you would like to help out, or have a donation to make, please speak to Sheena Gow or John Bazeley by calling 07979 043 851 or emailing

We do not charge anything for the goods we deliver from FFP but we still have to pay for materials, tools and new mattresses and we rely on a small bit of funding from local charities and government.  The rest comes directly from donations from individuals.

What we need

We regularly need donations of:

  • White goods (Washing machines, fridge freezers, microwaves etc)
  • Kitchen equipment and crockery
  • Beds (not mattresses unless new)
  • Ben linen
  • Dining room tables and chairs
  • Armchairs
  • Two-seater sofas (three-seaters measuring 1.9m max)
  • Sofa beds
  • Wardrobes
  • Chests of drawers

We plan to have a delivery/pick-up date once a month, where we collect donations and redistribute to those in need. There are many areas where we could use your help.

  • Repairing donated furniture
  • Delivering to those in need
  • Logistics and co-ordination

We have a Facebook page where you can see what we get up to during delivery days. It also lists the future dates we’re planning throughout the year. Please give us a like and if you want to lend a hand, click on the ‘Sign-up’ button.
