furniture project

The Faithworks Furniture Project (FFP) restores donated furniture, household items and white goods, and redistributes them to those in need. To date we have helped over 1000 families throughout the Banbury area.

We believe that God calls us to go into the community and care for those in need.  FFP does this by providing an invaluable service to families who would otherwise struggle.

what we need

We regularly need donations of:

  • White goods (washing machines, fridge freezers, microwaves etc)

  • Kitchen equipment and crockery

  • Beds (not mattresses unless new)

  • Bed linen

  • Dining room tables and chairs

  • Armchairs

  • Two-seater sofas (three-seaters measuring 1.9m max)

  • Sofa beds

  • Wardrobes

  • Chests of drawers

Work is carried out by volunteers. There are opportunities to serve in the following areas:

  • Repairing donated furniture

  • Delivering to those in need

  • Logistics and co-ordination

  • Follow-up visits

  • Administration.

Delivery and collections usually take place on Mondays.
